I made the ones below out of scrap wood. Scrap to me is a couple of things. It could be something that is going to be thrown away and instead of going to the dump, I take it home and do something interesting with it. It could also be culled material that is sold cheap because it has splits, warps, been weathered, less than perfect in some way and all sold for cheap. These boxes were made out of scrap. The ends were book cases that I made and disassembled and sanded. The sides were made of strips of dunnage pulled from wood stacks. Very simple boxes to make.
I will try to put more info on them when I make some more and more pics on the process.
I have kept most but gave one (the one by itself) to a coworker who gave me some nice oil paints and a easel box. Thanks.
